The village of Natsovtsi is located in northern Bulgaria 14 km from the town of Veliko Tarnovo. Veliko Tarnovo is a town and a municipality which includes 78 settlements with 93865 residents. The village of Natsovtsi is situated on the river bank of Belitsa just one kilometer from the Haynboaz Passage (so called 'the passage of the Republic'). Only 2 km east from Natsovtsi is located Kaleto – ruins of the Kilifarski Monastery, at the present this monastery is restored in different place: The village itself is founded about 176 years ago, while reconstructing the monastery five families of craft men settled there, the first citizen was already been living there. Her name is Natsa and the village was named at her. After that more people settled there. The road to the Kilifarski Monastery passes through the village, an old still active water-mill is situated on that way on the river bank of Belitsa. There are two restaurants and one hotel-restaurant with swimming pool near the monastery. The area offers good conditions fishing and tourism, also the clean air and the beautiful nature will help you for a complete relaxation. The monastery as well as the village gives shelter to tourists and eco-tourists. Every year at the 8th of September the feast of the monastery takes place which is also celebrated as a feast of the village itself. Being situated near so many place with significant historical and tourist value like Veliko Tarnovo, Dryanovo, Gabrovo, Kilifarevo etc. makes the village of Natsovtsi very interesting place for living.
